A Friendly Ear is a non-PTA forum created for current and alumni families and staff, to discuss Atkinson and related Portland Public Schools issues. This blog is a place to gather anecdotes as first-person accounts for all affected in order to see that there is a problem, and to provide resources to find remedies. We need your stories, and we desperately need translation services. Our Atkinson community is culturally diverse and it is certainly not only one community
that has been affected this year. We hope these pages will reflect that diversity that Atkinson has shared and has
